AI Prompts

Peter’s personal AI prompt library — 28 prompts he returns to most often. Click any prompt, copy the block, and paste into Claude, ChatGPT, or whatever tool you use.

How to use a prompt

  1. Click into one of the categories above.
  2. Pick a prompt — each page shows what it’s for and the full prompt text.
  3. Hit the copy button on the code block.
  4. Paste into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or your tool of choice.
  5. If the prompt has [placeholders] or a <context> block, fill those in with your info before hitting send.

A few tips

  • Longer prompts usually work better. The bigger prompts here (like Draft PRD or Edit newsletter post) include style examples. Keep those — they make the output sound like your voice instead of generic AI.
  • Iterate in the same thread. The first output is rarely the final one. Follow up with “make variation 2 more direct” or “cut the intro” instead of re-running from scratch.
  • Swap the model for the job. Claude writes better prose. ChatGPT with o3 reasons better through tough decisions. Gemini handles long video transcripts well.
