Connect GitHub
Back up Hermes and let it work with your repos.
GitHub is useful for two things:
- Backing up Hermes to a private GitHub repo
- Letting Hermes read and work with your other repos
Back up Hermes
By default, Hermes is stored in local files on your computer. That’s why it’s a good idea to back it up in a private GitHub repo as well.
First, create a GitHub account if you haven’t already.
You also need to log in to GitHub on the computer running Hermes. The easiest path is to ask Hermes:
