Peter in your AI tool

Use your whole Behind the Craft membership inside ChatGPT desktop, Claude desktop, Grok Bot, or Cursor.

I put the whole portal inside your AI tool so you don’t have to keep visiting this site or copying prompts by hand.

Connect in two minutes

Pick your app below. You’ll paste one link, then click Allow on a Behind the Craft page. There’s no token to copy and no setup prompt to run.

  1. Copy this link.

  2. In ChatGPT desktop, open the Codex tab and go to Settings → MCP servers → Add server. Name it behindthecraft, choose Streamable HTTP, paste the link, and save.
  3. Click Restart, then Authenticate. A Behind the Craft page opens. Click Allow.
  4. Start a new Codex chat and type:
    Peter, let's get started

Don't have it yet? Download ChatGPT desktop. The ChatGPT website only allows this in Developer mode, so use the desktop app.

Advanced: use a token instead

Only for apps that can't sign in. Set your app to connect to https://www.behindthecraft.com/api/mcp and send the header Authorization: Bearer followed by your token. Treat the token like a password.

What happens first

Peter opens with four choices:

  1. Start my Personal AI course (my recommendation)
  2. Install my AI skills
  3. Get discounts on AI tools
  4. See my most viral tweet

Reply with just the number. On the free plan, Peter starts you on Module 1 instead. In Claude’s Code tab, ChatGPT desktop, and Cursor, Peter can also add a /peter shortcut so you can call him anytime.

What the course guide does

If you pick the Personal AI course, Peter will:

  1. Explain the five modules and what you’ll build.
  2. Check which apps, skills, and automations you already have.
  3. Recommend where to start and teach the lesson with you.

He can also offer a weekly check-in, but he’ll only create it after you say yes.

If something goes wrong

  • Peter doesn’t show up: Check that Behind the Craft shows as connected in your app’s connector or MCP settings, then start a new chat.
  • Your app says the connection expired: Click Connect again in your app’s settings, or remove Behind the Craft and add it back.
  • You’re asked to sign in: Enter your membership email and click the link I send you. The Allow page comes right after.
  • You set up Peter before September 2026: Your old setup keeps working. To switch to the simpler connection, follow the steps above.

If Peter says your subscription isn’t active, renew at creatoreconomy.so  and he’ll start working again within a few minutes.
