Cron jobs
Create scheduled routines that make Hermes proactive.
A cron job is a task Hermes runs on a schedule, like every morning at 6:30 AM. Hermes sends the results back to the chat where you created the job, or anywhere else you tell it to.
Every cron job below follows the same three steps: create a skill, test it until the output is useful, then schedule it. Cron jobs only run while the computer running Hermes is awake, which is why I keep mine on a Mac Mini.
Start with the morning briefing because it uses the Google Workspace integration you already set up.
