Connect WhatsApp
Connect Hermes to WhatsApp using a second phone number.
WhatsApp is more annoying to set up than Telegram because you need to set up Hermes with a separate phone number.
If you use your primary phone number, you can run into weird linked-device issues.
Get a second number
If you are in the US, the easiest path is usually Google Voice . Create a Google Voice number, then use that number to register a new WhatsApp account.
If Google Voice does not work for you, use a cheap prepaid SIM. The key is that the number cannot already be registered with WhatsApp.
