Plan your taxes

Catch tax savings and deadlines every month instead of scrambling in April.

I hate doing my taxes or even reviewing my accountant’s work. But you can save a lot of money by planning ahead, especially if you own a small business. This scheduled task reviews your finances every month, flags missing documents, and gives you a prioritized list of actions before each deadline.

1. Connect relevant sources

Here are some sources that you should connect:

  • Finances  for your bank, credit card, and investment accounts (US only, ChatGPT only).
  • Google Drive  for a folder with your tax documents, like last year’s return, W-2s, 1099s, and estimated payment receipts.
  • Gmail for emails with your accountant.

AI isn’t your accountant. Use this to find savings, gaps, and deadlines, then confirm anything that changes what you file or pay with a tax professional.

On Claude, add the same apps in Customize → Connectors.
